Vulnerability.net is one of the top 10 premium domains in cybersecurity. When I acquired it, I knew it deserved to become something meaningful for the security community – a place where anyone could learn offensive security techniques in a structured, ethical environment.
👤About the Creator
My name is Uğur Ekiz. I began this journey in early 2000s Turkey by designing websites and selling web scripts on forums like WebMasterWorld, gradually emerging from within hacker culture. Thanks to my introverted, obsessive, perfectionist, and dopamine-driven nature, I discovered globally impactful tools and security vulnerabilities, mastered the anatomy of information gathering through even unethical methods, and professionalized this experience by bringing it to ethical ground.
This evolution—from web applications to botnet, keylogger, and RAT architectures, from compiling exploits and writing shells to advanced vulnerability analysis—has shaped my approach today: "think like a hacker, but act like a corporation." In my professional career, I played a critical role in strengthening the security infrastructure of the world's leading e-commerce platforms.
In 2008, I began providing cybersecurity consulting to major companies globally as an ethical hacker. By 2009, I had identified critical vulnerabilities in most of Turkey's largest e-commerce platforms and became the first person to undertake their cybersecurity consulting. During this process, I not only produced technical solutions but also played an important role in helping corporate companies properly understand and internalize the concept of ethical hacking. In 2013, I founded my first cybersecurity company in Turkey. Subsequently, I established Cobol in Ukraine in 2018, VulnSign in the US in 2022, and Sobele in Turkey in 2024, proving my expertise in the global security arena. This accumulation has given me not only technical superiority but also an international vision.
